Why?
You only find template introductions or AI written gobbledygook on about pages these days. I researched many of these and ignored all the ones that are creative and cool, so I’m sure it's true!

However, if you really want to know about me, here it is:
Introduction
Hi, I’m László Nyers (you can call me Lazlo). A fully-stacked web developer currently operating out of Hungary. I have been doing this for about 7 years, so I have a decent amount of experience in pretending to know what I’m doing.
I started out as an “all-in-one IT dude” at a small physical media publishing company where I learned about managing servers and small-scale IT infrastructure, working with content management systems, “helpdesking” colleagues and clients, writing spaghetti code, servicing computers and managing people, while having next to no budget.
After a few years I felt like I had enough and became a freelancer, where I focused on improving my programming with a lot of practice, experimentation, and self-study.
Skills
- My preferred stack of frameworks for creating web applications is
Laravel (with Postgres) for the backend
Vue 3 (TypeScript) for the frontendInertia.js for connecting the two.
Tailwind CSS and Tailwind-based UI libraries for the design.

Outside of work I have a passion for all things tech, gaming and building computers.
I have some trouble expressing myself in verbal communication, but I find myself pretty good at written communication. I have been told I’m a good listener and give good advice. I like meaningful conversations and dislike meaningless small talk.
I have a good eye for detail. Unfortunately, this comes with a slight case of OCD, which often seeps into my work. For example, if something is slightly off-center, has a larger padding on one side than the other, or is a slightly different shade of color, it might bother me to no end until I fix it.
I am a very pragmatic person at my core, who values logic and creativity equally. I also consider myself very calm and open-minded; I accept differing opinions and views very easily but expect others to do the same for me.
I also like money. Shocking, I know.
